Hello MRE Families!

Welcome to Mae Richardson Elementary, a vibrant community of learners where passion and joy abound every day. Our students bring magical wonder and curiosity to our hallways and classrooms, always making it a great day to be a RAM! 

Our dedicated and dynamic staff, comprised of certified teachers, classified support, and specialists, is committed to engaging with all of our students. As your favorite neighborhood school, we strive to foster an environment that not only nurtures academic excellence but also encourages the personal and social growth of every child. At the heart of Mae Richardson's mission are our core values: we are compassionate & supportive, we are committed to relationships, and we are invested in lifelong learners.

What makes MRE truly exceptional is our emphasis on providing an engaging learning experience. Our classroom teachers and staff actively seek out learning enrichment opportunities for students throughout the school year. Utilizing unique learning spaces both on and off our campus, we aim to bring learning to life. Whether it's creating projects in STEAM or exploring our school garden beds, we believe students thrive in the learning process when they have access to hands-on, real-world experiences. Field trips, choir, running club, yearbook, outdoor education, service learning projects, and the library are just a few ways students can extend their learning beyond the classroom.
